Embassy of Vietnam organizes a reception on the occasion of the 78th National Day
On the evening of September 5, 2023, the Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar held a reception on the occasion of the 78th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023) at the Diplomatic Club Event Center, Doha, Qatar. Attending the ceremony were 40 representatives of Qatari ministries, including the Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohammed Al Amri, Director General of Security Major General Saad Jassim Al Khulaifi, Director of Protocol Department Ibrahim Fakhroo…; more than 70 heads representative agencies of countries, international organizations and a large number of people in the community Vietnamese live, work and study in Qatar.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the State of Qatar Tran Duc Hung highlighted the historical significance of the Revolution August and National Day September 2, highlighting a number of important socio-economic achievements meetings, foreign affairs... of the country over the past 78 years, and at the same time announce the achievements Vietnam's outstanding socio-economic achievements in 2023, domestic and foreign policies of Vietnam in the work of building and protecting the Fatherland.
On September 7, 2023, at Bait Al-Sulaity Music Exchange Center, the Embassy of Vietnam in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Qatar to organize "Art performance night Vietnamese tradition" with the participation of 6 members of the "Sac Viet" band from Vietnam Academy of Music. Speaking at the opening of the performance, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the State of Qatar Tran Duc Hung warmly welcomed Director of Arts and Culture Maryam Al Hammadi, Director of Bait Al-Sulaity Music Exchange Center Khalid Al Salem (Ministry of Literature transformed Qatar); ambassadors, diplomatic corps officers of other countries, the Qatari public and the community Vietnamese community in Qatar.
