76th anniversary of National Day
On the afternoon of September 2, 2021, the Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar solemnly organized the 76th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic situation, attending the ceremony were representatives of the Vietnamese Community Liaison Committee, businesses, students studying in Qatar and Embassy officials and employees. The Ambassador informed about positive developments in the cooperative and friendly relationship between Vietnam and Qatar in recent years. The Ambassador affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar always pays special attention to the Vietnamese community living, working, and studying in Qatar. The Ambassador assessed that the Vietnamese community in Qatar is small in number, working in many fields but is always united, actively supports each other and always looks towards the homeland and the country. The Ambassador hopes that the community will continue to promote that spirit for mutual development, thereby preserving Vietnamese national identity and contributing to strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Qatar.
On this occasion, Ambassador Tran Duc Hung also spent time interviewing a number of English and Arabic newspapers (Gulftimes, Qatar Tribune...) about Vietnam - Qatar relations.
